We are a child-led, play-based, all-outdoor preschool in Golden Gate Park. We offer half day and full day programs, following the SFUSD calendar.

Since the Autumn of 2017, our little earthlings have been traveling every nook and cranny of Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach, Sutro Heights, Land’s End and Fort Miley! We are a small program that offers responsive attentive care to our little earthlings and their adults. While forest schools remain a relatively new educational model in America, they have been well established since the early 1950’s in Denmark and beyond. I have spent the last 8 years creating a hybrid model that stays true to the foundational principles of forest schooling, while prioritizing core child development and early childhood educational principles. Adapting this model to operate on public lands has created its own new and distinct educational model, one which continues to evolve and prosper. I am happy to have worked with very fine educators, administrators, gardeners and conservationists and remain extremely honored for the trust we have earned through the work we do at little earthlings forest school.
